"It has been a long and whiney road with more miles than I care to mention. Throughout it all I have found it helps to put it down on paper, via my watercolors. Art keeps me sane, and makes me crazy. There is a small voice inside my head that I think of as a little guy that holds a cup that gets overloaded with STUFF, and then he spills out his stuff through me, onto paper. It's just the way it is." Matt is a local Lancaster artist with a wonderful sense of humor. He is very modest and extremely talented. Getting an artist statement out of him is like pulling teeth from a parakeet. Matt has lived in Lancaster for most of his life and his inspiration is tied to the family farm that he grew up on and the Susquehanna River. He is one of the initial co-founders of Red Raven and continues to offer his support to all Red Raven Efforts. Matt has shown his work for years in the Lancaster area and has a truly loyal group of "Matt" collectors.
